Visit the world famous Adelaide Oval - Some or the orginal Grand Stands are spectacular to look at and have been very well preserved, it has the feel of a proper sporting ground and not a stadium, so the sporting atmosphere is better then you would find in most places.
Mount Thebarton Snow and Ice - This is a wikid place you just have to visit, It’s a 120 meter, indoor ski slope covered by 200 tonnes of real snow. It’s best to go with a group of people as there are not many planned activities. Phone +61 8 8352 7977.
Sellicks Beach – Located south of Adelaide this beach is known for it’s sparkling clear waters and a real feel of the outdoors as there is no built up housing near the beach, you will also be amazed at how white the sand is.
Maslin Beach – This beach is great as it’s over one kilometer long and was actually Australia’s first official nudest beach, so if you are after a great overall tan then head to the southern end of the beach – it’s 700 metres away form the main car park so you won’t be pested by any peeping toms. It also features spectacular cliffs and golden sand – oh and the water is clear, clean and divine.
Mount Lofty Summit – Over 700 metres above sea level you sure do get great views of the city to marvel at, it’s especially good at night s the city lights put on quite a show that is sure to dazzle you. If you really want to experience the Adelaide outdoors then a great way to experience Mount Lofty Summit is to hit the Cleland Conservation Park for a rewarding climb to the summit.
